The New Defender Digital Field Test Scale
OHAUS has continued to expand their industrial weighing portfolio with the introduction of the Digital Field Test Scale, building on over 100 year's of experience building scales for weighing materials in standardized tests.  The OHAUS Defender Field Test Scale is designed to support testing of concrete to ASTM C29, C138 as well as asphalt to AASHTO T19 and T12 at construction sites. These standards require precision weighing of test samples for concrete and asphalt in new road construction and repairs.
 
Durable Construction to Withstand Use in the Field
The Defender Digital Field Test Scale is built to withstand the rigors of regular use with a painted steel base connected to a durable, ABS plastic indicator, all housed in a metal carrying case.  Designed to withstand loads up to 165 lb., the Digital Field Test Scale is perfect for weighing large buckets of asphalt, concrete or aggregates in the field or in the bed of a pick-up truck.
 
Indicator with Large Bright Display
The Digital Field Test Scale's indicator combines a bright, backlit LCD with large numeric display able to display weights to 0.05lb.  The indicator includes an internal rechargeable battery with 100 hours' operating time between charges.  The indicator is connected to the base with a 9' cord, and each Digital Field Test Scale comes with an AC adapter with a 9' cord.
